Meet Dorotheea.

Hey Hi Hello! I’m Dorotheea – the human behind Kamea Events. I find joy in structure, order, and lists. Driving past orchards or vineyards planted in neat rows gives me a sense of peace. I live to make goals and achieve a “bigger picture”. My small talk skills are embarrassing, but I enjoy deep conversations over a cozy cup of coffee (or glass of wine!). I recharge by spending time alone, but I thrive off of the company of my closest friends and family.

Jesus is the reason I am who I am today, and I owe it all to Him. Through my relationship with Him, I've learned the patience, grace, and empathy that I need to serve those I work with and for.

This business grew from a love of marriage & friendship - both reasons that celebrations are often initiated! Ever since I hit the ground running in early 2017, I’ve made it my goal to take the pressure off of you to produce the most memorable day for your loved ones, and to give you back the time you need to continue nurturing the relationship you have with the love of your life. your relationship doesn’t need to hit “pause” just because you’re planning a wedding - I’m here to make sure wedding talk isn’t always the center of your conversations.
