Midweek Brunch Wedding at Bridal Veil Lodge
One of the greatest honors as a wedding vendor is to be hired to participate in a fellow vendor’s wedding. We’ve worked with Cassie from Foraged Blooms on numerous occasions for creative projects, as well as weddings. We’ve gotten to know each other on a professional, as well as personal level. Cassie inquired with a vision of how she wanted her special day to look, and she wanted to partner with us to see it all come together.
When you’ve been in the industry for quite some time, you’ve had the opportunity to view dozens, even hundreds of wedding galleries. Cassie really valued special attention to having decor moments styled and photographed, so when it came time to construct her timeline, we made sure to include extra time for styling her personal details. It’s not often we get to spend uninterrupted time designing flat lays on the wedding day, but when we get the opportunity to, it’s such a treat!
Being a florist herself, and having made so many floral friend connections, it was no surprise that the floral arrangements and installations for her intimate wedding were nothing short of spectacular. She and her friends worked together the day before to create everything together. It was amazing to watch them work together to arrange over one thousand stems of echinacea to create a lush, meadowy ceremony installation.
Not only was this wedding absolutely stunning, but the food is something I still drool over to this day. I’m a huge fan of breakfast for dinner, so the fact that this wedding took place at brunch time on a Thursday was one of the most memorable details. Amidst the culinary feast, the focal point remained the endless mimosas – a symbol of celebration and cheer enjoyed by all of Cassie + Daniel’s close friends and family as they sat at a long banquet table and celebrated the couple’s new marriage.
