Honey-Hued Bridal Editorial | The Historic Cedar School | Troutdale, OR

Yellow tones & honey-hues are a vastly underused palette in wedding design. What a shame when there are so many gorgeous options when it comes to florals, decor, and other details. For this creative project, we decided to emphasize this aesthetic & went all out on designing a look where this palette could shine. We partnered with an amazing vendor team who was on board with the vision & decided to highlight three different wedding gowns made by one designer - Elizabeth Leese, based in Texas, to produce an ethereal yet modern look.

The Historic Cedar School in Troutdale, OR, has the most beautifully-renovated indoor space, perfect for an intimate wedding of about 50 guests. Cassie of Foraged Blooms had the genius vision to create an indoor meadow of sorts with wild grasses, dried golden fern, and pops of mustard blooms. This serves as ceremony inspiration for those looking for a high impact focal point that can also be repurposed afterwards to emphasize other elements of decor due to their modular form.

One of my favorite details of this entire project was seeing the jaw-dropping cake Lux Sucre Desserts provided. They did a stunning job melding the two key inspirations of the design - honey & modern lines. This cake looks amazing from every single angle. No matter where you stood - it was beautiful & meticulously decorated.
